The 1 inch (26mm) steering shaft extension is necessary when installing a 1 inch (26mm) body lift.
This extension bolts in place of your existing universal that connects the steering column to the rack and pinion. Our steering shaft extensions are made on a jig with precision tolerances and are tested to withstand the rigors of off road punishment.
 
This extension is included with the 1 inch (26mm) body lift kit .
